In wintertime, you can enjoy the outdoor ice rink. This is a great way to introduce your kids to ice skating, they even have skating aides if you need them. Or if you don’t have kids, the ice rink is a romantic way to spend date night! Bower Ponds can provide rental skates if you require them, or even sharpen your skates if you haven’t used them in a few seasons.

In summer you can go out on the water with one of Bower Ponds’ paddle boats, canoes, or kayaks. If you like, Bower Ponds provides a group rate discount on boat rentals if you bring 20 or more people. This is a very enjoyable way to bond with your youth organization and church groups, or your very large family.

On that note, the facilities at Bower Ponds are also available for bookings for your personal family events such as anniversaries, birthdays, and family reunions. Or perhaps you just want to enjoy the local festivities on Family Day and Canada Day.

Bower Ponds also has a cafe featuring traditional deep-fried goods, as well as hamburgers and hot dogs, ice cream, pop, and even kombucha. And finally, if all this wasn’t enough, Bower Ponds features a board game cafe every Saturday night with over 200 games. Admission to the board games cafe gets you a credit at the cafe too! The board games cafe does not require a reservation, but if you are the more competitive type, there are even board game leagues for you to join.
